    22” Tire Pressure - What PSI are you using?

    When I purchased my Michelin Defenders, I call Michelin Tech Support and asked them about their recommended tire pressure. They told me to use the tire pressure recommended by GM for my truck. So far, no tire wear issues.

    Anyone “upgraded” from the tensioner style AC compressor to the stretchy belt?

    Interesting discussion. I just had my AC belt pop off earlier this week. Both the belt and the tensioner are less than 3 years old.

    While the motor mount on the drivers side is the one most likely to fail, my recommendation is to do both at the same time.

    ^^^^^x2^^^^^ Take out and replace the cabin filter and vacuum the inside of the housing as best that you can. It is amazing what can accumulate in there.

    Good idea on using chalk to identify precisely where the rubbing is taking place. I wasn't referring to this as a temporary fix, though. This is a permanent fix that many folks here on the Forum have used successfully.

    You can pull the shrouding back by putting small holes in it, and then zip tying it in the back to something solid, and pull the shroud back. You may need to do this on a couple areas of the shroud in the appropriate places to create the needed clearance.
