I recently removed worn out Z55 air shocks and original coil springs from my 07 Tahoe. Replaced with Moog 81069 springs, 4 new moog spring boots, and Suncore shock/spring combo. New springs and shocks raised the rear of the truck, now it sits at 38.5in on the drivers side and 39in on passenger side. I believe the rear sat approx 2-2.5in lower before the swap.

When going over taller speed bumps at more than just a crawl, I sometimes get a horrible creak/groan noise with a clunk from the rear end. It feels like the rear end/axel is moving forward/backward after coming down off the speed bump, rather than just up and down.

Any ideas on what can cause this play/movement in the rear end?

sway bar? did you change that also, either way sounds like the sway bar bushings need to be lubed.

Did you get your clunk/groan/creak issue resolved?

If so, was it your sway bar bushings like Doubelieve suggested?

It nice to see what finally solves folks issues incase it comes up again.
