They have to be linked together otherwise your AWD system would go bizzerk my tuner says, and he actually has to also pull the stability / abs fuse off as well. My Dyno guy turns it into 2wd by disconnecting whatever links the two rollers.

I just had mine dyno'd monday.. Due to adding the Edelbrock E Force supercharger
to my 6.2 denali -+ 2014
I put on Kooks Headers and Y pipe with cats too...
I only got 352 hp & 380 Tq.. By the speed #'s looks like they did 3rd gear
I'm going to take it back for a "touch up" next month with better fuel, so maybe
that will change.. But I'm kinda disappointed with the #'s so far...
Just got the front fascia, wheel wells, etc etc all put back together today so haven't
really driven it yet.
I talked to Edelbrock, they said they would normally see 450 HP from the 6.2
with their charger.. Mine was on a stingy mustang dyno so I'd figured around
400 hp...
Was this your dyno numbers before the supercharger or after? Learning from the 6th gen camaro crowd from my understanding is that the Edelbrock line of superchargers are very weak and will not do good as far as hp. Why didnt you go to boost district and buy their supercharger kit? They claim a solid 450rwhp on a conservative tune with only 7lbs of boost

Numbers are of course after the Supercharger install.
Even edelbrock said that they typically see 450 HP and around
at least 400 hp even on a mustang dyno.
I told the tuner I wanted a very SAFE tune for towing, etc and
that I'm not trying to be a "dyno racer"... The dyno # I really don't care
about.. Its the drivability and reliability for towing that I'm after.
The edel sc is supposed to be an improvement on the eaton design
and supposed to run cooler air charge temps due to its inverted design.
That's why I chose it

seen lots of articles & such stating Edelbrock s/c's are low on HP compared to other brands.
a few vids complaining about it too.
