Just picked up a new 26 Yukon XL AT4 Ultimate that has the camera provision for trailers, but it really doesn't seem viable for a boat trailer. Not sure the camera is submersible either.

Is there a magnetic blue tooth camera out there that is boater friendly?

I use this to help hook up my gooseneck on my 2500 and monitor the load while driving. Works pretty good. They also have a version that links to an app on your phone. But I wanted to have a dedicated screen for mine.

Is that camera battery operated or can it get power from the 12v on the trailer? I been looking for something for my trailer too

I rented a camping trailer once that had the rear camera wired to the running lights -- had to turn the lights on for the camera to work. Then it was wireless to the screen in the cab.

I’d like something like that. It can be permanent on the trailer. I’d prefer not to have to maintain another battery. My dump trailer has high walls so I can’t see over it and my van doesn’t have tow mirrors.

The camera is battery powered, it has a USB port on it. I haven't used it long enough to kill the battery so IDK how long it lasts.
