Also had some time yesterday so I did a few lighting upgrades. I put in new headlight and marker light housings because I noticed some water forming in them last week. While I was there I did some new bulbs and some switchbacks, and also found some sweet new fogs that look and work way better than my stocks. I forgot to take pics until after I already removed the first stock fog light, but here are those...

I did adjust the new lights after that pic, but it was too dark out to take pictures.

Next on the agenda is a grille blackout and the HD hood

The lights getting water in them--were they oem or aftermarket? Whenever I get new lenses I always run a bead of silicone around them and also put some dielectric grease on the gasket for the bulb. I haven't had any water intrusion yet. Cheap insurance.

They're aftermarket and that's a good idea

I have those same headlights (DNA). They work well still after 3 years but I am about to have to replace them, they started yellowing really bad and the passenger side housing is starting to crack up and look like sh*t. I'll probably order the same ones again because 1 they're cheap and 2 I already have the DRLs wired up how I want them.

Good to know they work well. I like them so far

How do you have your DRLs wired up? I think I'm going to switch my DRLs to the LED strip, but I haven't decided the best way to do that yet

Mine are wired to the turn signals (the wire with full-time ACC power so they don't blink). I ended up ordering the new set and they looks great, but don't fit as well as my original set. I'm still happy with them though because they distract the eye from my paint slowly dying from sun exposure lol.

With the Southeast GM Truck Nationals in three weeks, I decided to get off my butt and blackout the grille. Last coat of clear is drying as we speak
