Will 5x7" speakers fit up on the back of my 2door tahoe ?

i put some 4x6's with a wood plate cut for them to fit the 4x10 in today some infinity 4x6 plates with the midbass and tweeter seperate, they helped out alot with my sounds

Ideally, you'd want to make a speaker plate from 1/4" MDF or plywood sheet to fill in the gaps and possibly throw down some dynamat as well.

Yes the factory covers still fit over the speaker i just had to cut out the center clip on the side were it has 3 tabs and it fit just fine..

for sure, you don't want opening like this, you'll want to seperate the front and rear
