Wider wireless charging console lid.

I happened to be at the dealership today for a service on my 15’ Tahoe LTZ.

I was walking around the lot and noticed a Suburban with a wider wireless charging slot in the center lid.
I’ve read through how to update mine to support wireless charging on my IPhone but it is pointless as my phone does not fit in the area.

Does anyone know what year they made the charger wider for the center console? I’d like to pick one up and swap out my lid.

The charging pad changed in 2018, but you can buy a retrofit directly from GM that will directly replace the '15-'17 consoles' pad. Part number 84526978
