Arent those ac delco spider units stupid expensive? I have seen them for anywhere from 300 - 900 depending on brand

A Delco unit w/bracket + FelPro gaskets and a fuel filter is under $450 shipped from amazon.
There are some 3rd party units at half that price but those are the OE poppet units.

I was gonna let mine ride but the lower gasket is failing rapidly now. It looks like my truck is raining underneath when I park after I drive a bit.

Weird. That same p/n goes from $350 up depending on source. The “conversion kit” doesn’t seem to add anything I can tell from pics or description.
To me it seems to say this part was actually made by gm

yes I removed extra things but that was for other projects and cleaning
