Where do I install my Line Out Converter???

I am trying to install a sub to my factory head unit. I have the wiring kit for the amp and the Line out converter for the head unit. Where would be the best place to splice in the LOC? I have a 2009 suburban with onstar, XM, and Bluetooth. Not a Bose system and no factory subwoofer. I have seen on here where they have added LOC with the Bose system but can’t find anything about the regular radio. My loc has the bass knob and I am thinking of mounting it in the console or under the dash.
