~15 city
~17 hwy - level road...

Factors: 5.3L, 4-speed, 4x4, 4.10 gears, level kit, 285/65/18 mud terrain tires. I need to adjust the odometer to account for larger tires. A tune would be good too...

FYI, before the mods ~17 city and ~19 hwy as I recall.

We are at 15 mpg mixed driving here in the WV hills. Our Dodge Journey only got 16 mpg with a V6. Can't wait to see what the mpg's are on the trip down to NC to the beach in a few months.

16,036 miles worth of data on the Tahoe. My best guess is a 60%/40% mix of highway/city. Here is how it breaks down:

Before Tune:
15.72 Average for 87 Octane
15.63 average for 89 Octane
15.70 average for 93 Octane
Combined average - 15.35

After Tune:
15.97 Average for 87 Octane
15.63 Average for 89 Octane
15.61 Average for 93 Octane
Combined average - 15.86

Max - 17.62 mpg
Min - 13.02 mpg

I wished I had what some of you people are smoking....or burning for fuel. I cant even dream of 20 mpg highway. My Tundra has come much closer to accomplishing that (19.33).

I get 12 in 99% city driving. The couple tanks I've had what I would call mixed driving I've gotten 17.

I need a tune. My DIC says average of 14.3. But after the last tank and doing a little math it is like 13.5.

Well you got it tuned that probably hurt some. You have a 4sp, that hurts some and the way you measure hurts some.
