I've been noticing that a lot of the sig pics are just red X's and now someone mentioned most of the TOTQ pics are the same. What's going on, a virus on the forum?

My sig image broke a couple days ago, did exactly what you are describing. I had to go bring the image up in my Media Library and view the image in a new tab, then copied the url and pasted into sig using the image insert and it fixed it.

Edit: using Safari on multiple devices had this error on them all until I fixed my sig image link.
I think the links broke for some reason.

We recently changed to https (secured the site) most sigs are now going to show the Red X. All you have to do is edit the img tags and add the https to it.

I fixed the TOTQ thread and just added the https to all the tahoeyukonforum links. They are all working now.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what this means? My sig pic shows up in my profile so I thought I was being smart and right-clicked on it, then clicked "Inspect" and thought I could add "https" to the code. No dice. I'll play with it some more in the meantime.

    Nevermind.

In case others need the layman's guide:

    1) Mouse over your screen name next to your avatar (top right of screen next to "Inbox" and "Alerts")

    2) Click "Signature" (Under "Personal Details")

    3) Click anywhere on your signature pic image (it should be visible as it was before)

    4) In the box that pops up ("Image URL:"), hit the back arrow to bring the cursor to the beginning of the URL

    5) Where it begins with "http://........", type an "s" after the "p" so it reads "https://........"

    6) Click "Insert"
