What Years Had Lifter Issues?

What were the problem years in regards to lifter issues?
May be looking for a replacement used Tahoe and want to know which years to avoid.

Buying a used vehicle with AFM either get a low mileage one or one with good oil change records. I turned off my AFM on my 2018 Yukon Denali so V8 all the time and still avg over 20mpg. If you can try for a 2018+

The Gen V motors in the K2s are not known for being failure prone but had other issues that were ironed out by about 2017.
