What is this disconnected hose hanging in my 1997 Tahoe Suburban?

It's located here:

Another angle:

I haven't examined it closely yet or tried to follow where it goes, I just noticed it tonight. Is it some kind of vacuum tube or axle vent? Is it coming from the radiator? The washer fluid reservoir!? Car drives ok, I hope it's not important...

Normally held in a clip on the top right side of the radiator just below the hose inlet.

Edit
The clip that holds it is attached to the plastic shroud along the seam where the upper and lower shroud meet

Nothing to see here folks, problem solved. That plastic piece in the end of it is a one way vale. May want to look at it and clean or get a new one but will likely be fine just as it is.
