So I thought I would share. Not done yet. Waiting to receive it, but I scored a blue cargo shade for my 99. You can't imagine how hard it was to find. Countless hours searching Craigslist, Facebook and anywhere else I thought I could find one. I finally found one in Nevada. Shipping it wasn't cheap but I really wanted a blue one to match. Living in Florida, you would think I would find one closer. Getting this made my day.

OK, The search for a blue one continues. Got this today and it is too wide. I think it's from a 96. I honestly thought it would be no problem for a 99. Lesson learned. Disappointed though.

If it helps, this looks to show the two dimensions used (1498mm vs 1560mm). According to the part description, the longer ones were used in the earlier years without rear a/c. The side panels were different.

GM tended to use sequential part numbers for different colors of the same part, so blue’s part number was probably close to one of these. Maybe you can turn up some old dealer stock that way.

It’s marked as specific to Tahoe/Yukon - model code 107(06).

Thanks for the information. Blue as an interior is no joke. I don't have to have it, but thought it would be nice to have. It is hard to find good blue stuff. Most of mine is good luckily. Just recover the drivers seat (and pad), and get the sunvisors recovered and it will look pretty good in there.

Drove FrankenBetty to work today. Since i put her new tires on, it's been a dream driving her. Still have to put the interior back together after the great amp swap but definitely love driving her. I was itching to drive her and my husband had rotator cuff surgery in November, so in December I put the driver seat in and i've been driving her like that. Waiting for all the leaves and pollen to finally finish. But my Skar amp and those 6.5 components in the front door and the old ass 12" sub in the back definitely make my morning commute a blast.

Trying to feel my way around here. OBS, Original Body Style? GMT400 ???

First 72 hours or so of ownership has been discovery and exploration, trying to figure out what works and what doesn't and what things are supposed to do. Then ordering a few things to make my mark on it.

Just hope I didn't make a mistake. Bought my two current cars sight unseen. Drove hours to get them, then drove them hours back home. That was 20 years ago and they both still run.

Bought this one sight unseen, but I had a local go to look it over some and test drive it first. Then paid to have it shipped. If it last another 10 years, it'll probably have outlasted me.

I don't need a money pit and hope this won't turn into one. This is my first 'truck' of any kind and it's going to take some getting used to. It's a little longer and wider than my Taurus wagon and I was concerned about judging distances when turning and parking, but it hasn't been too bad.

Neighbor had a Silverado PU I looked at, but the trans was shot and had a number of other problems that would have been too expensive to fix.
