Drove it home from a week-long stay in Tampa, Florida yesterday. She got us there in relative comfort, all around Tampa and surrounding areas, then back home with a 900-lb golf cart in tow- 1,858 miles from my driveway and back with no serious issues. I'm proud about how effortlessly she towed the loaded trailer while still managing almost 17 MPG at 70 MPH. I say no "serious" issues since there was that time it sputtered on low fuel and the cheap Chinese exhaust cutout is rattling like mad now. It's acting like the gear drive is loose. Probably a broken weld or something.
Stupid rattles drive me cray cray. :insane:

I ordered some inexpensive Acme projectors with black Gatling gun shrouds in order to do a quad retrofit on my Silvy. I didn’t like having to leave the lower (high beam) bowls chrome when I originally did the retrofit. Hopefully I will be able to successfully bake the things open again without hurting them otherwise it will get real expensive having to buy new Depos and CM paint to do a complete rebuild. I was thinking about going with the same setup as I have on the top projectors with the etching and demon eyes on Morimoto projectors but that would have been a $450 upgrade. This will only cost me $140. Can’t wait to get rid of that chrome.

Paid a hundo to have em installed. Watched stuff on how to do it, didn't want to do it. I just removed the entire seat and dropped it off at their shop, two days later and she was done.

I wish I remembered the part number I ordered to replace mine, it's the same as yours

Thought this was way more money than $100. So i have just a heated seat, do i need to cut any of the cushion to install it?

YES. It's embarrassing. It sounds like an exhaust leak mixed with a plastic tambourine. When I was out and about in Florida by myself, I kept the cutout open. With the fam in the car, I kept it partially open to stop the rattling. It was louder, but sounded less broken. lol

I was gonna say, just open the cutout so you can't hear the rattle, duh

I don't understand why they show one for the passenger side when it operates the same as the drivers side, I am thinking that the seat pad must be smashed then.
how long did it take you to replace it?

Took under 2 hours, and you don't have to pull the seat out to do it.

The foam does squish over time and the heat/cool don't feel like they work

I'm assuming you checked for burnt connectors under the passenger seat?

I am going to do the drivers side, no I haven't checked for any burnt wires yet, it works for hot/cool just not all that great. my drivers bottom seat cover has some wear so I am just going to do the cushion and cover I will check the wiring while I have it off.

It only takes a few minutes to pull the seat and that makes it so much easier.
