Replace the 4wd actuator. It was showing neutral, I bought the actuator but tried to replace the switch first. The new switch went neutral, then another day it would show in 4hi AND 4low, then another day it stopped working all together. After I replaced the actuator the switch was still dead and putting in the old one got everything going.

Took it in for an alignment afterwards.
That’s when the real trouble started….
Update….

Finally got it back after replacement of brake hardline.
The suspension parts selected may be overkill, but damn … the Tahoe rides and handles better than ever (maybe even better than when we picked her up in 2003…).

With the front and rear suspension overhaul and the Durafoam lower seat padding she is ready for the family adventure road trip…..

Finally managed to source and retrofit a 2005 Escalade Platinum cooled/heated cupholder unit to my 2005 Denali XL, way more complicated then it should have been and had to buy a second unit to replace the tar and hair covered circuit board in the first one I bought. It was pretty difficult to find any info to help restore it, but now my drinks stay ice cold and dont dilute my drinks any more!
I've got a friend who supposedly reverse engineered these. If he has them up for sale, I'll post a link. Please let me know if there is any interest here. Thanks!

Has anyone changed out the whole tail light harness? How hard is it go get to the bundle connector. I'm thinking of doing this instead of just the individual sockets.

Not hard at all, wear glasses when you crawl under the vehicle to unplug the harness. Dust/dirt will get on your eyes if you don't.
