Had myself a good fucky wucky

Was talking on the phone in the car earlier tonight

Had engine off, on accessory, chit chatting

Got out of the car, locked car w/ fob, forgot to take key out. Stillllll on accessory

Fast forward to 1am

Go to drive off

Can't find my key

The oh shit **** moment dawns on me

Keys still in the car

Great.

Go out, try to unlock it.

Battery is shit ******* dead. Can't get into the car. I could unlock it if I had my key, but it's locked in the car

WOOOO

So I return to get a knife and a spatula to finaggle open my hood latch

Dog flips shit when I leave and has a panic attack

Need to calm her down

Get her cool, give her a pig ear, take off

**** up the knife on the hood latch

Need to take a different approach

Go back to the room. Pig ear 1/4 gone. On the clock now. Grab my break-in shit

With the help of a nice, though confused passerby directing me, I manage to finaggle my way into the car, get the door unlocked, and get the hood open

Hook up my jump box

"tick tick tick tick"

Nope. Jump box is too small

**** me

Crawl into the trunk, get my jumper cables.

No one around

Go stand in the middle of the intersection, cables in hand, waiting for someone to drop by

They crack a "you're not going to ****** me, right?" joke.

I get a jump and yeetlereedoo on out of there

Obligatory pic of doggo

****** start to the day. So you locked it manually with the door switch? Or, I guess you keep the key separate from the fob..?

I have a ton of keys on my keychain. I keep the ignition key on a little clasp so I can avoid having a fist sized ball of keys dangling around when driving. Makes it easy to keep it running in the winter, use my fob to lock it, and walk off too

Turned the stock keys 2 more turns passenger side, and 3 more driver side. Now between 36.5-37” from ground to wheel well lip on all 4 corners. Replaced jounce stops with new ones, but the energy suspension spacers I bought are too tall, so returning those for 1/4” spacers. Replaced just pads on the front brakes, since I’ll be doing the NNBS brake upgrade after I wear out my tires. Added BG ATC Plus to the transmission, hoping to get enough out of it while I save for my swap.. Alignment tomorrow.. dc3afcb06e8bda8768ad09b1d6b87d2b.jpg9b7fedea2024051cd3d066a073931b0a.jpg

Energy suspension spacers? Can you provide a link please?
