at the moment I just need to look and see which one gets switched to keep usb power on the hotspot the wife uses for the kids wi-fi goes dead if it sits.
easy to just throw it in the center console and forget about it but if it goes dead then bleh...
I have some that are free with no fee's just needs to be charging, saves the $15 monthly onstar fee

Anyone know what these things are called? I’ve searched “chrome pillar trim” “rear pillar trim” “chrome trim” can’t seem to find replacements. IMG_6529.jpeg

I changed the Transmission Fluid, the Filter and the Harness on my Wife's '17 Yukon XL Denali. It solved the hard 1-2 shift in the truck!!

GM Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness P/N 24298757 has been Superseded (replaced) by P/N 24046895 according to GM Parts Direct

WOO HOO!!

Put kayaks on it! For those who may wonder what my setup is, I bought 220 lb capacity aftermarket crossbars that screw into the mount points on the factory rails:

Then, bought the Malone J-style kayak racks with straps:

And finally, the Malone TelusXL kayak load assistant bars:

The load assist bars have a cradle on them that lets you load a kayak with one person by sliding up the ratcheting cradles, alternating from front to back of the kayak. Slicker than owl shit. For anyone who's tried to load kayak on a Suburban, it's a real comedy show without something like this - even with 2 people.

passenger side mirror power fold motor kicked the bucket, so luckily the process to R&R is virtually identical to the gmt900's.
even the motor from a gmt900 fits, the only catch is the power connector would need to be swapped also at least I am pretty sure didn't do a full mock up
they switched the connector on the k2's to the outside and longer pins, but they bolt up the same and the arm fits
luckily I had a partially broken mirror I picked up a few months ago for free so salvaged the motor from it. couldn't even find any motors for the k2 mirrors for sale.
