The Escalade will require cutting and I don't think there's any way around it but I haven't actually got to it yet. Maybe I can get it to fit by spacing it forward enough but we'll see. It's 1.5lbs heavier than the C7 cluster and is huge by comparison.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for casual users it's still relatively new and lots of quality of life features still to come but... https://www.customecm.com/cluster-configurator

Interesting, I haven't got that cluster yet I think that's a one year 2015 only cluster and I've got the 2016-18. I don't know if they're the same physically or not.

They are , I had one but wanted the full blackout look. The 2016+ has chrome rings on it I believe

It does. I have a C8 cluster here that might fit better (or wildly worse) than the escalade cluster and it's full digital and all black and is on my list to fit in the future.

Got my first car wash since June and cleared and organized junk out the garage so the Yukon can fit back inside. 3 months parked in the drive and she’s no worse for wear. Ceramic coating is awesome imo. I’ll try to put a winter coat of wax on this week while temps are moderate.

I installed a dashcam and hooked up the rear defroster after silver epoxying the popped clip. Got the eighth plug and wire swapped finally by going from the bottom with a pry bar.

Took it to buy some new wheels for $400. Despite the center caps they do seem to be OEM.

I'm giving the Accelera Iota ST68s a try as I have been drifting on Accelera tires for years now and this will be a good test for their new SUV offering while not committing $1500 alone to tires on a new build.

I have no idea, I suppose a branch hit it because there is no paint damage but it is dented. This happened to the prior owner so I have no history of it.

Yes the extensions for tow mirrors since the OEM ones are so stinking small.

It's not that they are small they just changed the shape of the glass too much. A 2014 Sierra mirror right next to my 2015 Yukon mirrors are hardly very different size-wise but you can see SO much more from the truck mirror. I did the Escalade mirror "upgrade" and it looks worse and has the same zoomed in effect it's just taller so you get a little bit more real estate but they hardly are tow mirrors and still lack compared to the basic truck mirrors.

I agree the Escalade mirrors are taller but about the same width and when I test drove an escalade I thought the mirrors are excellent but on the Suburban they are terrible. So this is my 20$ solution for now. I may end up with actual tow mirrors down the road.
