What made you trade in the Tahoe? No hate, just curious. The new ride Looks good.

Both are excellent vehicles. The Tahoe was more of a towing plain Jane rig and I don’t tow. I was missing some of the higher trim level features - mostly the adaptive radar cruise control. The Toyota has a lot of flaws but it just fits my needs better at this time.

what ya got to rid your self of ???? let us know.

Mostly the new vacuum pump + vacuum pump belt (was going to replace with the front diff service at 50,000 miles) + 1 set of OEM wiper blades + 1 set of OEM air filters + 2 Mobil 1 oil filters. There’s some Dexron and DexCool, but shipping on those wouldn’t be my first choice.

Replaced that damn rear hatch lift strut. 3rd time on this 2017. Time 1 & 2 were under warranty.

damn thing exploded when I released the lower latch. That sucked. Come to find out there is a bulletin that says to run a screw into the side to prevent that

It’s easy enough to fix the strut though. It had unthreaded from the lower joint. I reassembled it and put it on the shelf for next time. Kinda pissed this poor design hasn’t been addressed yet by GM

my guess is gm doesn't even make them they just have a manufacture do a run with the gm part number printed on it, after they do the gm run they re-tool and do some other brand name

Interested in your impressions on the S&B. I've wanted to get one for my wife's Yukon. Mainly to make checking the filter easier. Any noticeable change in "get up and go"?
