What about vehicles built and sitting incomplete??

My understanding is that there are a raft of 2021 and I guess now 2022 vehicles of all kinds built in various stages awaiting chips and completion. What happens to the market when these are completed and leave those storage yards? My understanding this could drag out into 2023.....

Most of those already have buyers lined up. Unless a dealer doesn't take orders for new builds and sells them as they come in. But typically, the demand is so crazy that they're taking deposits as soon as they know what the car will include.
