i just ordered the DDM HID's

9006 55 watt 10,000K

this will be my 3rd set of hid's i have (listed below)

9006 35 watt 6000K (low beams)
9005 35 watt 4300K (high beams)
H1 35 watt 4300K (wide angle fogs on grill guard)

i will post up some pics and compare the 35 watt and 55 watt.

little update. the hids were on back order, they should be here today or tomorrow. if all goes well. i cant wait. pics will be up asap

now tonight they will go in. i need to take before and after pics.

just switched from the 5000k 35w's to the 55w's..what a difference! they say 40% brighter..more like at least 40% brighter!!!

10000k is a little too blue for me, but maybe the 55w with wash it out, waiting on those pics! haha

i got 10k 35w and love em but they are my first pair i just ordered up some for my regal and my girls gator

O man I want 55 watts...but i want 8000k. They say 55 watts will wash out just wanna see for sure. I <3 8k. I want that for my headlights...just not sure what I want for FOGS...

Colormatch, yellow or white.

the 55 watt for sure washed out alot of the blue. here is the output at night.

they look really close to 8,000K or 6,000K i love them i can see so much more.
now just to aim them

i know the aim is super bad on the left one.

How do you aim them? Thought the only way was to retro fit a projector in there to clean it and improve the light.

I'm to lazy for that...doesn't seem important to me.

you can aim the housing, i dont have projectors but you can aim the hot spot.

How do you do that when the bulb is fixed inside the housing? Are you talking bout moving the whole light?
