    new here, just bought a 2007 Tahoe with 90,000 miles..after reading all the post about AFM, I want to try the Range..if you got one for sale let me know..

    It's a Range not Ranger. I bought mine direct to make sure I received the most current version, covered under warranty and free updates. $189 from Range direct.

    Or spend another $20-30 and find a used, unlocked i-1000 on ebay.

    They can be found for way less than $180 used, I got one for $60 from a member here that upgraded to a full tune. Check ebay as well.

    I'm overall happy with mine, it does keep it in V8 as advertised. Over the several months I've had it, it has switched back to the V4 mode twice so I just unplug/replug it after shutting the engine off each time and it fixes it. Not a big deal.

    These ok for a new 2018?
    They show no signs when the dealer looks at it?

    Only way dealer knows is if you forget to unplug it and they see it sitting in the OBD port.
