As the title says. Has anyone turned it "off". I keep getting P0011 code. I hear it has to do with the VVT system. I found a local shop that utilizes a HP Tuner and can shut it off. I want to make sure it doesn't cause any other issues if I choose to. Any thoughts?

P0011 is for camshaft position sensor. I would tune the vvt out if it were mine.

There is a cam phaser I dont think you can tune it out just lock it out with a comp cams kit. Same work involved to replace sensor as to get to the phaser to lock it out.

I tried out Marvel mystery oil this weekend. Since I added it in zero codes which is very rare hopefully this stuff worked. Only time will tell I will keep the thread posted.

I had the same issue. The code was intermittent though.
Not trying to start a oil debate, but I put in lubrication engineers. (From the diesel world, it's the best stuff out there.) After a day of driving, it was gone.
