2017 Tahoe LTZ, time to replace my front pads and rotors and I am wondering if I could swap out the PPV calipers to accommodate the PPV pads or if I would have to change other brake system components as well? Any pad/rotor combo recommended? I was pleased with the stock brakes but would like a little more bite.

Thanks

Just get some different pads.

If you want some bite, EBC YellowStuff or RedStuff pads will get the job done.

I'd also recommend upgrading the OEM rubber brakelines to braided Stainless Steel lines.........major improvement in pedal feel

And if you have no record of when the DOT3 was flushed......add that to the list.

As a part-time automotive tech....... DOT3 should be flushed every 24 months or 24,000 miles for optimal performance
