Well… the Arnott springs settled so much it got annoying. I think it got lower than stock.
And I only have 33k on the truck and maybe 2500 miles on the arnotts if that.
So I ordered the suspension maxx 1.5 inch level and I feared it would be too high.
Nope… if anything it’s still a hair lower than rear so it looks correct.
However the install was a headache. I followed the instructions. Un bolt the two lower shock bolts, use a crow bar to leverage the lca down and slide in the level bracket….
Yea no.
The drivers side went in… if you had a second person laying on the crow bar. You really should unbolt the upper ball joint and give yourself a few mm’s.
Now the passenger side? You have to disconnect the upper ball joint completely. Loosening the joint to where the nut is still on the threads is not enough.
And why is that? The droop stop for the upper control arm. The drivers side lets the knuckle droop further than the passenger side. And by quite a bit. Easily the thickness of the level spacer bracket at the shock mount.
I was quite surprised by the inconsistency. This truck has never been in an accident. Never been jumped or anything that would twist the frame. The coating on the droop stops is not marred or anything.
So anyways, add unbolting the upper ball joints to make things easier. 18mm nut and a stubby 6mm Allen key to retighten.
