Tweeter Placement and Location

I have a 2003 Tahoe that I just bought 3 sets of T3 components for.
For the time being they will be installed off the deck and then when I get an amp I will be fiberglassing either a set of 6.5"s and the tweeters in the a-pillar or a set of 5.25"s and the tweeters.

But for right now I don't see how I am going to mount this huge tweeter in the a-pillar without it bulging.

my other option would be to just leave the stock where it is and extend the wire to the doors where I see some people mount them by the lock switch.

i would suggest a tweeter placement ahead of the driver in the door behind the stock grill...just like the stock tweeter is installed in the 00-02 Tahoes and 99-02 Silverados.

or you could install mids, and play holding or with 3M tape the tweeter in several places, and listen where you like best.

i forgot about that method! I have read that 18" maximum from the center of the mid is recommended before separation occurs. Any input to that? I guess it all really matters to the installer/owner of the vehicle and is more preference.

alright well I have already started cutting the a-pillar to fit the new tweeter but does anyone know the wiring for tweeters on the 03 tahoe.
I can only find wiring for the door speakers but nothing on tweeters.

Run two mids in the door, two tweets in the pillar and run the crossovers in the kick.

Just wire straight from the crossover to the tweeter with legit speaker wire and bypass the stock stuff.
