I'm surprised someone would own a car for almost 10 years and drive 126k miles without using the trip odometer

2001 Yukon SLT
2012 Yukon Denali XL
2011 Yukon Denali RIP 5/20/18

I bought a new to me 2004 Yukon back in 2009 and it had about 90,000 on it and both trips matched the odometer exactly. They never reset any of them! after that I never reset trip A for nostalgia sake.

7,400 miles +-200 miles

Not a bad guess - the truck has 6196 miles on it. To be fair lets do the math guess 7400 - 200 leeway = 7200 - actual mileage = 6196 16%
OP post those pics right away we have a new mileage check resource here hahahahaha

Not on these rigs. I'm at ~2k and 40 hours on this OCI. I watch the thing tick up on the freeway, both on the timer and engine hours counter
on the hybrid hours don't count when running off the electric battery..
my has 1200 ish hours @ 84100 miles

I was driving for a 1-1/2 hours in traffic it only counted 0.8 hours I was about 15-20mph most of the time tell i got closer to home...

I figure I get better mpg in traffic since I can run off the battery more

I had just assumed that the hour counter was counting up if the system was running whether it be EV / ICE or a combo of both? Shoot my 2366.8 run time hours at 201639 miles might be correct and it has run well over 2000 hours in EV mode????
I really do not think that is possible though, as it only seems to run in EV or Combo mode a small percentage of the time even with the new hybrid battery that I just installed.

I was on the freeway very slow traffic it was mostly in EV mode I did not even have to brake very much because of the regen..
Average MPG 21.52MPG over the lifetime

I did a test and it is correct that the engine hour meter does not run when engine is in autostop I ran it for over 1 hour and it counted up about 1/2 an hour. The engine was in autostp when parked and in EV mode approx 1/2 the time. It does seem to count up anytime the engine is running it just stops when the engine shuts down. I will never get over 18 mpg average unless I go back the the factory wheels and LRR tires plus unload my 400 to 500 lbs of tools that I tote around with me all the time. Currently averaging 17.3mpg over the 6k miles that i have had it. Wheels and tires look cool though LOL.

Sorry to say. Your brother has been had. When i get gauges reprogrammed, the programmers never delete the trip mileage. If the year is mileage exempt then there is nothing you can do
