After i did my flip kit the rear seal on my tranny has been leaking. I replaced the seal once and it seemed to have done the job. Well, its leaking again and tranny fluid is all over the back of my tahoe as well as under it.
Does any or has anyone done a write up on how to replace the bushing in the rear of the tranny? The seal isnt so bad, the bushing is where I'm stumped.

Thanks

You got it, in the tailshaft. Where the driveshaft slides in.
Thanks

Cool, thanks man, I appreciate it.
Now, off to search for the propper tooling to remove the bushing. That seems to be the tough part.

believe this is the bushing according to gmparts:

better yet gm says this number is the whole extension housing with bushing and seal. it is not clear weather they are pre-installed but for $ $46 it may make for an easier and quicker fix if so.

Great news, got in touch with FLT, they are shipping me a new taihousing with seal and bushing for free :) . Cant beat that with a bat.
I have to admit, they have been great. Going on 4 years with this tranny, absolutely zero problems. If I ever have a question, they respond very quickly. Most of the time it is the same day.
