looking at train horns for my ppv. I dont want to remove my spare tire, any other place to set the compressor?

Put it where the factory mounts the Auto Level compressor? Could probably get an OEM mounting plate to bolt it to the frame and bolt the air horn compressor to that. Check with @LanceD, he's parting out an Escalade.

Somewhere around here is a thread with the info I was trying to find but unfortunately I can't find that thread.

Anyway, someone used to, or maybe still does, make a kit that had two compressors and two tanks (if memory serves) that were mounted on a bracket that bolted in place of the plastic splash shield under the front end.

It was really for an air ride suspension but train horns require A LOT of air.
