I don't have the TPMS tool for resetting the position on my 2012 Yukon.

I set the parking brake, turned ignition on, pressed lock and unlock on keyfob to initiate the procedure.

Once the horn sounds, I let some air out of the LF tire but I won't get the confirmation honk.

Can this procedure be done without the tool?

I'm not sure about your year but on mine when I got a flat and got patched. I just drove it down the block, and it figured itself out. But you probably need the tool.

To clarify, the sensors work, but the positions are wrong.

Yeah it’s well worth the $15. I bought one and it beats sitting there messing with the air pressure. It’ll usually trigger the sensor in like 2 seconds or less.. makes the whole process less than a minute

This is the one I got if you were unsure

That's the one I ordered, thanks. :waytogo:
