TPMS in Trailer

Hi all. I was trying to install tire pressure monitoring on a trailer. I bought tire sensors the same as in the Yukon. Installed them in the wheels of the trailer. I'm trying to register from, but the car does not see them. I tried in two ways, and by reducing the increase in pressure and using a scanner. The scanner sees the sensors, but the car does not. Maybe there are other pressure sensors? Or is there some kind of tricky activation method?

If i recall correctly, there is 2 versions of the ts sensors and these vehicles use the new version which uses a different frequency? However i am not positive on what the difference is between the two. There should be a thread about ut here somewhere and they habe the proper gm part number for the ones you need.

For the trailer TPMS, you need GM P/N 86803897, then follow the prompts on the infotainment system to program. There was a previous P/N that is now obsolete: 85110397

I am trying add those sensors 86803857 on my trailer into aftermarket wheels (Sendel wheels) I call Sendel and they are not sure it fits their value stem hole. Has anyone installed those sensors in aluminum aftermarket wheels any brand

Your question is unclear…but I installed the GM trailer tire pressure sensors, P/N 86803857 in the Aluminum 15” weels on my Ranger Boat trailer with no issues.

What brand wheel? Sendel wheel Co. Said that they didn't know if that sensor fit their wheel. I'm looking buy wheels for my trailer and want to add the sensors in the wheel

Whatever brand Ranger supplied from the factory. Not suren the hole size, but I’ll I’d say it’s the standard Schrader valve size you see on most passenger car tires/wheels on the road.

Pretty sure is a .453” (11.5mm) metal clamp in style, see here:

That's not the issue its the collar that holes the sensor in place on the wheel on the sendel wheels. The HI spec wheels the sensor will work but it's very close to the beed and could break when they install tire but they make a relocation kit part # DA416. from dill valves. Thank you for your help.
