Right? Does anyone else’s look like this?Looks like one of those center grip sockets
At least it aint full of rust and stuff right?Normal from what i remember.
yes, this is correct. and required for normal operation. Both of my torsion bars where they are inside the lower control arm don’t sit perfectly for flat to flat, corner in corner. Is this correct? View attachment 493880
I looked up a new lower control arm, at RA, for my 2005 Tahoe Z71 and the 6 sided hole for torsion bar, is the same. They are not flats.
You, for some reason, did not supply your vehicle info. One of these days, my dream will come true and every post will have all the required vehicle info, by the OP.

All I know is that if I got hit in the head with one or the other, it would hurt.Looks pretty normal to me. There's gotta be some slop of those two pieces otherwise they couldn't be slipped out for assembly/reassembly.
General question: Are all GMT800 1500 torsion bar LCA forged steel? My 99 Silverado 2wd (coil spring) has the welded/stamped steel LCA. My 06 Suburban 2500 LCA are the torsion bar with forged steel. But I don't own a 1500 4x4 so IDK and I'm curious?
