I think its just the 10 speeds that are still not tunable.

I have an Edge CS2 on my 2017 5.3 Suburban. Run it on Level 3 (Trans Only) tuning all the time. I found it used for $150 and paid the $50 to unlock the PCM. All 2017+ models have a locked PCM.

If you just want a little extra pep, check them out. I like the unit and since I'm not after max performance it met my goals.
