Hi - I'd like to do a lift next on my '97 Tahoe. Not for any off road/trail reasons, just want to have a more level look and a bit higher, so with that in mind it seems choices are pretty limited.

I keep coming back to something like this:
4" Rough Country: https://www.roughcountry.com/gm-suspension-lift-kit-274.html?find=1997-chevy-tahoe-4wd-735979
2-3" Rough Country: https://www.roughcountry.com/gm-suspension-lift-kit-170.html?find=1997-chevy-tahoe-4wd-735979

Other than the obvious height differences, is there value/benefit in just going with the 4" lift? Are there any other kits I'm overlooking because I just keep seeing Rough Country on all my searches.

Thanks for any input/suggestions!

I would go with the 4inch kit. I purchased the 2.5 and no matter what we did or how many shops I took it to the truck would not align and was incredibly stiff. The 4 inch kit drops both upper and lower control arms and the torsion bars to keep the ball joints in the correct position and maintain ride quality. I’ll be going with the 4 inch kit after trying just about everything under the sun to get the 2.5 kit to work.
