If I were Mark, I'd look for a same year Tahoe with the dumb suspension and get the RPO sheet which will have the codes for what shocks were used. These photos can be found on the used car websites.

From there, I'd plug the VIN in over at ACDelco's website and find out what the original part numbers were and my own preference would be to buy those. If he wanted to go aftermarket, he'd then have the OE numbers to interchange with the aftermarket.

Then again, he could get adjustable shocks and drive around and change the settings to his liking like you did Ken.

You DO NOT want to try hooking the factory air ride compressor to the Air Lift helper bags because it will rupture them.

The factory air ride compressor is capable of air pressure up to 150+ PSI.

I had no idea it was that strong! I thought it was a feeble turd just adequate for adding a few psi to the shock bladders. Everything about it looks "minimal"- it's size, the airlines, etc. Glad I decided to delete the system rather than try to use it for the Airlift bags. To the OP, I retract my suggestion for this.
