That sux about the supercharger. That would've been badass. This setup from this G8 looks sweet. Don't know if there's an intercooler on this one, but it's also a Vortech.View attachment 198727 View attachment 198728 How much boost do you think your motor would be able to handle?

Looks to be. It pipes down and comes up the other side of the radiator. Without some sort of cooling the charged air, it be severely limited to low psi due to excessive heat

so what happened with this turbo kit?
Well I decided to go a completely different route. Being that the Tahoe is my DD I’ve decided not to do anything else. Recently I just blew up my built 4L75E which was really frustrating. If I add a charger or turbo I’d have to make some major changes to the driveline and for me this just isn’t feasible. The Tahoe already runs a 12.2 in the quarter mile. Plus this Tahoe weighs in at 5,320lbs. My new project weighs in at almost exactly 2,000 lbs less at 3,300 lbs

So now I’m focused on my 57’ Chevy truck. Here’s some pictures of what I’ve done since May. It’s a 5.3 LS swap converted to a Holley 650 ultra pumper. Howard’s cam .555 lift 284 duration Z06 valve springs and Keith Black flattop pistons. Edlebrock dual plane with MSD control box to replace the factory ECM. She’s estimated at around 425 hp. Not a street outlaw by any means but can handle it’s own. Just a nice cruiser with a little power
