Sunroof track arms have snapped - any experience with a fix?

Sorry about digging up an old thread, but am needing to do this repair on my Esky. I can not find the kits anywhere. Suggestions?

Did you try th automotive.com? That’s where I ended up getting my kit from a while back.

Yeah that’s weird. I pulled up the website and when I went into the subcategories for my year make and model nothing comes up for any products. I wonder if they’re not making them anymore. Or if maybe they’re just sold out.

Ouch that’s steep. My kit was plastic as well but it wasn’t that much. Where did you end up finding a kit?

Yeah definitely the right kit. But damn out of stock.

So mine, from what I can tell, is broken different than others, and I think this kit will still repair it.

So my air damn thing still works, and the sunroof still opens and closes.

The arms that go back, and attach to a metal flat piece of metal, that brings the sunroof shade out of the roof, when closing.. Those arms are broken.

The sunroof opens fine, but when closing, I have to stop it half way, grab the arm, and pull it over 1/2 inch on one side, and then it closes fine.

Maybe someone can use their 3D printer to make those parts for you.

I’m having a hard time getting the new pieces that I ordered into the track where the old ones are I broke the old big that holds the metal long piece out with a flat head TYIA
