Suggestions for 08 Tahoe mudflaps

As much as I don't want to put mudflaps on I am getting some paint damage behind the rear wheels......Does anyone have suggestions for a low profile set. All the ones I've seen are way to big and look awful.

I just ordered the husky ones. I have seen them on and I think they look good. I just want to keep the junk off the side of my car. Easy install too

The best ones i've seen are the painted GM ones. Get the Contoured ones and they fit right in with the body lines of the vehicle. There one of the few that look decent, I don't even notice mine anymore

I put a clear paint protection product on my rear. I have used this product on several trucks. This link should take you to 08 hoe.

justgurn, I like the idea of the stick on protection instead of the flaps......Are they noticeable? I'm also wondering if they can handle the beating of a full season of salty roads in New England.......

Just installed the painted GM ones. I live up in Canada where the roads are slushy and muddy at this time of year and I hope this will make a difference.
I just installed the rear ones tonight and I am waiting for the front ones to come in. Once they do I will post some pics. The rear ones look good though, I'm pleasantly surprised and I hate mud flaps almost as much as I hate washing my vehicle every time I drive it.

I was a little apprehensive before ordering b/c i liked the look without them, but now that they're on, i have no regrets.

go with tape not as noticeable as mud flaps but you can tell if you look at it closely. or rinoline the bottom 1/2 of your car i though about that but i havent come across one of those days where i felt dumb enough to do it i had one of theose days a while back and ended up with a crazy light bar lol who knows what happens next

Yes they make two models for the front flaps...one for LTZ and one for the other models both will work with running boards..I put the fronts on my LT with runners (cause I was getting soo much road crap kicked up on the runners) this solved that problem without looking like the "old mans rig"...I was ready to trim them up for style...but didn't need too- they blend quite nicely. I got the front for $41 shipped on ebay factory GM ones.

I've had the color match ones from gmpartsdirect installed for about a year now, fits perfectly and looks good on the truck, imo...

I have a black denali with the auto running boards. Does anyone know if the factory painted GM flaps work with auto running boards?

Not sure about the auto running boards but I'm sure if you ask at the GM parts counter they will let you know. The GM ones that i put on would not interfere though, I'm pretty sure. The hardly stick out of the wheel well at all. My biggest concern was the 24"s touching and rubbing them off but so far so good.

If you don't want mud flaps. Used 3m protection film (clear film) run it from your side moldings down . Note: i have it on a 2008 tahoe - on the sides, whole front end, mirror caps, and 8" on the front of the hood. NO ROCK CHIPS

Just installed some Weathertech mudflaps today, I think they look pretty good. The Weathertech website said they were not for use with 22" wheels but so far I haven't noticed a problem.
