Ok how do you remove the frigging glove box on these trucks, used to be a few 7mm screws and the whole thing came out.

I’m trying to get to the aux. fuses relays that are installed for police use up high in the dash. Hopefully don’t need to remove the dash top. Need to drive this tomorrow, as I’m returning to work. Outside lighting radio siren and stuff. Found info on GM UPFITTERS website but can’t get to the area to trace wiring.

Ok I figured out how to pull the glove box down, really wasn’t looking at it closely enough.

Were you able to get to them with the glovebox out?

I’ve been trying to trace the 60 amp feed on mine but don’t know where it really should be.

Look up GMupfitters.com. Or if you have the police and special service package booklet in your glove box, pic #1, it tells you what the fuses do. I found out the 125 amp fuse , pic #2, ran a red white fuse under the center stack. It also runs the power feed I found a while back stuffed in the drivers side cargo area where the jack is located.

What I’m trying to figure out is the wire mess I pulled out from under the center stack of my truck. Pic #3 below. What they did/do and whether I can power my fog lights with a switch or 2 22E63215-9964-4296-B1B9-FE193DC98A58.jpeg 22E63215-9964-4296-B1B9-FE193DC98A58.jpeg A62F9F1B-444D-4660-831F-0CA49E75659D.jpeg 976DF154-4C58-4A5E-869E-FC38E46D18A8.jpeg CB022493-38A5-42C8-87FE-D6AC4DFD8922.jpeg 336F1743-7415-47FD-A7B5-038E3058E068.jpeg and possibly a light bar once I can swing a push bar for the front.

I managed to also find pics #4 & 5 behind the grill zip tied up above the radiator. If I could remove pics 4&5 and use the existing wiring for my lighting I would be happy.
