@Taavi, when does the rear fog light come on? What is the purpose besides having it to pass inspection?

I've had BMWs that had rear fog lights, its a safety thing. They come on with the front fog lights to help drivers behind you see you.

Yes, rear fog light is for safety, when there is fog or heavy rain, it makes it easier to sight the car in front. Rear fog light shines much brighter than regular taillights. Actually the rear fog light has a separate switch. There are different regulations, when to use front fog lights and rear fog lights. In Estonia it is allowed to use rear fog light only on highway, but front fog lights may be used for daytime driving everywhere, but then it is forbidden to use headlights at the same time. Using front fog lights with headlights is allowed only, when there is low visibility due to fog or rain.

Another one of many laws that we need in the USA, but people are too: entitled to driving that they don't need to actually learn how to do it well, careless to use it properly, or too much of a ******* that they would rather blind other drivers, because they don't care and think "its cool looking".

If people actually put forth a real effort we wouldn't have to drive our: sports cars, sport trucks, and sport bike motorcycles the same speed as semis on WIDE OPEN straight roads that have nothing around or as slow as the people in the other three lanes getting passed by someone coming on to the highway in second gear.
