Hello everyone, I'm in need of some help!!
I have a 07 Tahoe, LTZ and both of my front door latches have started to act up. Mostly not latching when i go to close the doors, the latch stays open and the door just bounces back when you close the door. That's no big deal, as I just work the latch with a screw drive open and closed and spray some WD-40. Now my issue is the passenger door will not open from either the inside or outside. It's almost like the linkage is not connected and acts like its locked. I worked the inside door lock up and down and it feels like its engaging the lock, but when it's unlocked i still can't open the door.
I looked here and online and couldn't really find the answer, but did see that the latch assemblies are electronic so i'm worried that i won't be able to open the door if the electronic part is dead. Any help? Thanks in advance
