Flex fuel has nothing to do with AFM. Read here (especially the FAQ's) if you really are interested:

I am 100% interested in this, especially after I noticed it switching to 4 banger mode. because when I need to floor it there is some hesitation and hard shifting which sucks. loss of power.
I am in California so I cannot order from range website. I'll have to go through ebay route.
