Was asked to make a build thread, so here it is. Sold the wife's 04 Yukon, and got her a new Q50 3.0tt. Since I work for a Infiniti dealer I get a great deal on a lease, plus the owner will pay $200 of your payment for buying a car. So hard to beat a new car for $130 a month out of pocket.

My Daily was a Supercharged 07 TBSS for the last 7 years. Fun vehicle, and learned a lot along the way. However I reached a point of boredom with it. Didn't have the money to take it much further. That and my 85 Monte Carol SS is almost finished with the LS3/ 4L80E swap.

Since both were paid for it gave a very nice down payment. However I haven't had a car payment in 7 years. Now I have 2 to pay for, hence the slow part of the build. Here it is though, 2017 All Terrain Sierra, crew cab short bed with the 6.2L.

After some emblems were removed. Tint and clear bra added. And a domed gmc overlay.

And today I put a tonneau cover on.

Next up is exhaust. This thing is way to quiet, and I would hate for the neighbor not to know when I'm leaving. I think I am going with the Borla ATAK, but can't make up my mind. Either dual out the back, or dual side exit. Part of me says out the back is not cool anymore, but old school in me still likes it. Help me decide.

Side exit with Corsa style tips would look great, the dual out the back looks out of place on trucks imo

Nice looking truck man! Dual side exits would look killer! Rear exits just don't look right on a full size truck and suv to me. But that's just me.

Nice start, such a clean looking truck.

I say dual exhaust , exit after the rear wheels on each side. 4" black powder coated tips.

Does the 6.2 pull harder on the midrange and top end? I've heard it is not as strong on the low end as some were expecting.

Thanks for the compliments. Just went and got license plates, $1163.67. Love wonderful Colorado. Hoping to order exhaust in the next couple weeks. Should have some birthday money coming to help. Going to get the Borla Atak duel side exit. Not many options for the 6.2l in the aftermarket.

As far as power, coming from a supercharged TBSS it is a little weak. However I really think it is picking up some pep as it breaks in. But everything is a little slow around here being a mile above sea level. Off a light it comes alive, it will squeal tires like it's trying to do something. Need to go to the drag strip for ***** and giggles to see what it runs stock. I would say power is adequate, but I think I expect more than the average joe.

Actually don't have a pic of the wife's Infiniti. Will have to get one when it's clean. It's just a lease so I look at it as a rental. Fun car car though.
