Simple question: What happens in your vehicle when you push the talk/mic button on your steering wheel?

If you push the mic button, what happens in your vehicle? Do you get a response, or do you have to hold it down for 3 secs to get Google to answer?

When Scam-Star was still active, a quick push brought up voice command.

When the free trial was over it throws an error unless I hold it down, then Android Auto kicks in for use.

There are 3 functions to that button, all described in the owners manual.
1) It will launch the infotainment google assistant with a press and release (assuming a connected phone is not ringing)

2) It will answer a connected phone if ringing
3) Pressing and holding it for 3 seconds will launch a connected phone's voice assistant (Google Assistant when using a connected android phone and Siri when using a connected iPhone)
