It was happening to me about once a month, then after about 4 months it would come back every week and then everyday. Had it scanned and it was the steering wheel position sensor.

I had this issue before on my 2009 Yukon Denali... Ended up being a bad front hub on the driver’s side. Changed it myself and problem went away.

Thanks for your input. This info corresponds with what I have researched, but replacing the wheel speed sensor looks like something I will have to have done professionally, as it is a little over my head.

Verify that’s your problem first—60% of the time it works almost every time.
