Found a Summit white grille shipped for $276. Now to wait and see if I can get somewhere to paint the headlight accent panels...

Anyone know the matching rear black bow tie PN?

Edit: got shipped a used (damaged) black grille.

Not too bad actually - took about an hour taking my time. Just need a 7mm, 10mm, and a plug tool. Glad humidity was low this morning in DFW. Anyone wanna buy an oem grill (and some gold chains)?bd6d64a3730a992ce5e46053dc1a63fd.jpg0a9a01c2f223cc707f005948937546b5.jpgc7c474d8cbeebe9ff096eebdf0ff2d77.jpgb266e43ffac65ddd5e2089a35aa2e188.jpg

This is also a great time to install fogs or, like I did, upgrade the bulbs. Very easy to get to them vs. the beating reaching in the well was when I first installed them. I used a "baseball parent" fold up wagon to lay the grill on while I took it apart, and it worked well. Total cost was around $360; every gm parts site charged more for black. I could have got silver for around $335, but black is beautiful...

Any advice on getting the bumper cover off? I hear the clips break really easy.

Neighbours kid swiped my wife’s bumper, so I took this as a good time to upgrade. Body shop put it on, as well as color matched the eyebrows above the headlights.

This is the part number that was given to me, not sure if black would differ. The parts guy did exactly what was stated before, he looked up a new RST vin and ran it.

What did you do to the kid?

When I search the part # for black RST grille (84245982), the GM parts site says does not fit 2016 Tahoe LT. Which is what I have. The original post was guy with 2015 and it fit so could I be reasonably sure this fits a 2016 also?
I had my stock LT grille powder coated black but after 4 years its full of little nicks from rocks and things that I touch up with paint but its starting to look not so great

Yes, the lateral ones by wheels do split when you pull out bumper, but they still work when you put them back in. Watch the you tube video (cant remember which one, but it was for an aftermarket grill), and you will be fine...
