disable door chimes for music while working

turn key to on
plug in battery charger so battery doesn't get run down
enjoy

Take a screw driver or key and push it into the latch in the door so it thinks it's closed. No chime. Just pull the door handle before you shut it to release. You don't have to leave the screw driver or key in there. Works on all Doors and gate too.
