My Blazer has California smog components and I was wondering if I could remove this stuff without disturbing the delicate balance in the motor. I'm not even sure where to begin with this one. I don't live in CA. any more and it's registered in NY. :Stupid Me:

why even bother? Removing those components could cause a Check engine light. Since your truck is Cali, the ecm could be programmed to see certian items and if removed could cause not to run right or a light. I say leave it.

You can get another ECM and rip the crap out. Oklahoma doesn't do inspections at all so one of their ecms are good

You have nothing to gain by removing the emissions devices
