So, ***** gone south for too long. Selling the silverado after a very short ownership. Bought a brand new truck as my DD at about the worst time in my life somehow. So thank god I kept my 2 door. You know... I knew it would end up like this, I always loved that 2 door more then any other thing I've ever owned or driven no matter what it lacks. I'm gonna take it as a good thing and enjoy my 2 door project and begin to drive it again as my DD. Looking forward to using TYF on a daily basis once again I missed yall.

Thanks bros, 96procomptahoe I'll expect the bumper within a month ok? Lol jus kiddin!
Ok 3" RCX for my 2010 rcsb silverado was a piece of junk because the shocks they give you are a pile of garbage, you can't align the truck properally thus wearing the tires prematurely, and the ride is beyond stiff making it really obnoxious certainly if your running aggressive tires, your better off with taller shocks / blocks its really about the same thing. I'm not sure what the lift entails on the OBS tahoes is like though.
Oh andthanks grimm, lookin forward to you doin somethin hahaha.

I know lol. Truthfully they make some of the best looking bumpers I've yet to see and their made well but they take their time I mean really it takes a long ass time to get some of these things.
For my front bumper I'll be doing a Diesel front bumper in black.

Then a KMA rear bumper with jerry can holders / cb antenna mount / tire holder.
Turns out to be like $800.00 shipped how I want it.

Sucks about your RCX lift. And YES, one of these days I'll actually get around to starting my modifications, lol. But first I have to address my repairs, which I'm getting through slowly but surely.

I've got an interesting plan for the interior.
Gutting it all out once again.
Gonna do the LMC magazine vinyl flooring in black, just for the front (ends at the passanger bench in the rear) Then everything behind the passanger seats siding/flooring will be gutted Then I'm gonna spray line x on everything but the windows and ceiling behind the passanger seats. Then I'll be doing a cargo net from the floor to the ceiling directly behind the passenger seats. It'll be my compromise to a truck bed =D. The only wire I'll be running to the rear will be my coaxial cable to my CB antenna and if there are more I can easily fix that by hiding it in some split wire loom tubing. I wanna think shit out this time, make it functional and nice looking/sounding/fitting/aging.

be a jerk and swap the motors out before you return it. ha!

I wish motor and tranny swap lolz.
After its all said and done I prefer my 5.7L vortec to a 5.3L
And I prefer the 4L60 & 80e trannys to the 6L80 & 90e's..
Now this is saying that I don't prefer to do engine mods!
Commence bashing.

I think a LQ4 backed by a 4L80e swap in a 2 door or a rcsb is perfect I've now seen it done a dozen times and had the chance to ride in / experience them for myself.

ive always liked the diesel bumpers, should be a good fit. guess we will end up with matching rear bumpers at some point. how long did it take them to build and deliver the front bumper (or do i even want to know... haha)?

Whoops I totally forgot, I always wanted to do a custom front end with the KMA rear bumper! Good thing I remembered.
Wanna look like T-baggs front end. Anyone think it would look sweet like I do?

True. Hummm Donor anyone?! Might as well do the paint how I want it then,

desert tan / black

OR I could be more basic and functional which is 99% most likely how its gonna be and just get my black diesel bumper and my KMA rear eventually, and make the truck look the best it can, remove the old roof rack / repaint the grille / paint the rear bumper black for now / do the interior like I was saying etc etc etc.

Part # for primered diesel bumper 39-5604. Price $100.00  can't beat that! I'm biting the bullet! Part # for front vinyl flooring premolded in black 39-2904-BL price $179.00 also a pretty good price. So I could get both for $$ 351.65 W/Shipping. Sounds like a deal and with painting my rear bumper black plus the paint for the front I'm looking at around $400.00 for a major difference to the hoe!

Well hold up ... I need to powder coat that front bumper if I ever expect it to last... Right?
